Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging
TRAINING OBJECTIVES: This one day course provides the basic theory and practical applications of ultrasonic
inspection technology as it relates to thickness gauging. The course material and
hands-on demonstrations will provide the student with a better understanding of
ultrasonic thickness gauging applications in terms of material velocities, surface
roughness and geometrical configurations.
Students are encouraged to provide problems or thickness gauging examples that they
encounter in the workplace for discussion during the course.
